  1. How many homes will be built in Veramonte?
  2. The development has been approved to accommodate 48 new, custom-built homes on 50 acres.
  3. How big are the home sites?
  4. The home sites are a half acre minimum, with several acre plus lots. The starting prices for home sites are $365,000.
  5. Who are the builders?
  6. Signature Homes Group and Dave Brewer are currently the two approved builders. Both Signature and Dave Brewer are members of the Master Custom Builder Council (MCBC). MCBC is a Central Florida Organization pledged to maintain the highest professional standards in the home building industry.

    Both Signature Homes Group and Dave Brewer will work closely with you to design the dream home that meets your lifestyle and financial goals.
  7. If I buy a home site, how long do I have to commence construction?
  8. After closing on your home site, you will have 12 months to start construction. The developer will have the option to buy back the home site. You can also close the home site and home together to avoid any additional carry costs.
  9. We are a bit concerned about the proximity to the Interstate, what will be done to cut- down on the traffic noise?
  10. The developers have taken great concern in designing the community and its perimeters. There will be a brick wall erected on all perimeters, as well in between homes that back to each other. The retention area will be between the East border and the Interstate allowing for over 400 ft. to the nearest home. In addition, the East perimeter will have a fully-landscaped berm with the brick wall on top. The elevation of Veramonte is approx. 25 ft. higher in grade than the Interstate, all of which will alleviate the traffic noise.
  11. Do you have set floor plans for us to choose from? What will be the minimum square feet in Veramonte?
  12. Each builder can supply you with a litany of floor plans, although nothing is written in stone. These will all be conceptual in nature. We will be there to assist you in designing YOUR dream home. This can be a truly custom process, if desired. We have the ability to show you several existing homes built by both builders in the area. This can give you a great idea of what level of finish and quality these builders will offer. After this point, a builder meeting can be arranged to entertain the plan, pricing and allowances in greater detail.

    The minimum square feet is 3,500.

  14. The schools are Heathrow Elementary, Markham Woods Middle and Lake Mary High.
  15. What are the amenities in Veramonte?
    • Veramonte will be a gated community with controlled access to the Seminole Trail.
    • There will be reclaimed water and natural gas.
    • There are plans to equip the common area with a playground for the kids and possibly, a work- out station for the adults.
    • Residents of Veramonte will also be given a Social Membership to Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes.
    • The Veramonte entrance will have a guard house that, upon completion of the development and at initiation of the Home Owner Association, can be provisioned as manned or set up for an auto attendant operation.
    • Veramonte, unlike other developments, will have street trees planted before home construction starts. This provides a mature landscaping environment immediately for new homeowners and enhances the appearance and sense of a completed community.
